Full Stack Developer - Factory
Paris (intra-muros), Montpellier (Millénaire), or Bologna (Italy). Work from home is possible; some office attendance is expected.
About the Job
As a software editor, we are changing the way our customer companies are doing their business by introducing mathematical modeling and advanced technology in their processes. We are working in an international and multi-cultural environment in the center of Paris, sunny Montpellier, or the center of Bologna. Our “Factory” team designs and implements tailor-made software solutions to help our customers enhance their operations by bringing them the power of our resource optimization algorithms. On each project, we reuse generic front-end and back-end components developed by our “Platform” team. We also customize them as needed, or we develop project-specific ones. We are using Typescript and Angular on the front, Java and Spring on the back, and we deploy to clouds. We are fond of team work, helping each other is anchored in our spirit.
What we mean by “full-stack developer” is someone that will eventually be able to code both in the front-end and back-end. We expect that you master either the front or back-end part of our technical stack, and have notions of the other parts that you are willing to develop into operational skills. We also expect that you will enjoy talking directly to the end users and immerse yourself into their business universe. You will work within 2-4 person squads among a ~15 person team to deliver such features as: design the workflow of the solution from the user’s viewpoint and implement it through dashboards and tasks; design and implement an interactive and editable Gantt chart with high UX requirements; design the data model of the application and its integration with external systems to support the data flow; and more.
