About the Job
We’re looking for a Global Marketing Manager to join our team on a fixed-term basis to cover a maternity leave—someone with a strategic mindset and a keen eye for detail. This role offers a comprehensive experience in B2B software marketing with broad, hands-on exposure to a spectrum of marketing functions.
The Global Marketing Manager reports directly to the CFO and involves close collaboration with the global sales team and one other marketing associate who supports the execution of some of the below responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
The Global Marketing Manager will be responsible for the following activities:
- Website & SEO Management
- Maintain and enhance content on the website
- Identify opportunities to improve performance, such as through SEO – including potentially using tools or collaborating with 3rd party experts
- Collaborate with our 3rd party web administrator who handles the technical aspects of the website
- Content Marketing
- Brainstorming and planning content (educational, case studies, whitepapers, blogs, etc) with other people in the company who possess subject matter expertise and can help write the content, which you will then package up and make available through various channels and formats (online, printed etc)
- Plan campaigns to distribute content through various channels (website, social, etc) to maximize reach
- Develop and maintain a content calendar, including blog posts, case studies, and whitepapers
- Work on video production and graphic design (Canva) for various channels, sometimes with the help of 3rd party production companies
- Event Management
- Oversee the full event preparation process—from researching and registering for trade shows/conferences to organizing graphics, materials, and on-site logistics
- Vendor & Budget Management
- Oversee marketing budget and handle vendor contracts
- Coordinate activities with strategic partners
- Other
- Handle media sponsorships and explore advertising opportunities
- Manage Google Ads campaigns and track their performance to optimize results
- Create LinkedIn Ad campaigns and analyze the performance
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor or Master’s Degree ( MSc in Marketing is a plus)
- Language Requirements:
- English (Proficient, written & spoken)
- French and/or Italian is a plus (based on location)
- Strong communication and analytical skills, as well as experience with marketing software and social media platforms (Experience with Canva, Google Ads and/or WordPress are a plus)
- 2-3 years of marketing experience, preferably in a B2B software setting
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaborate with a team
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Job Details
- Workplace location: Paris, France (with options for Montpellier/France or Bologna/Italy)
- Contract type: CDD for 9 months with a possibility of extension temporarily
- Work Schedule: Full-time (39h), up to 2 days / week working from home
- Compensation & Benefits
- Salary is adjusted based on location, experience, and profile. It typically ranges between 30000 € and 41000 € gross per year, depending on the location (Paris, Montpellier, Bologna)
