Full Stack Developer - Platform

Bologna (Italy). Work from home is possible; some office attendance is expected.

About the Job

As a software editor, we are changing the way our customer companies are doing their business by introducing mathematical modeling and advanced technology in their processes. We are working in an international and multi-cultural environment in the center of Paris, sunny Montpellier, or the center of Bologna.

Our “Platform” team designs and implements powerful back-end and front-end software components used in the applications that our customers develop, or that we develop for them. The design of these components strives to match the needs of our customers closely, while achieving reuse across projects. We are using Typescript and Angular on the front, Java and Spring on the back, and we deploy to clouds. We are fond of team work, helping each other is anchored in our spirit.

About You

What we mean by “full-stack developer” is someone that will eventually be able to code both in the front-end and back-end. We expect that you master either the front or back-end part of our technical stack, and have notions of the other parts that you are willing to develop into operational skills.

We also expect that you will share our interest in solving business problems in the simplest way possible, and paying much attention to code quality.

You will work within a 6–8 person team to design, code, test and document such features as: advanced filtering on several widgets at once; integration with Business Intelligence tools like Tableau; customizable application workflow based on business-level status with impacts on UI; scalability of customer applications to dozens of users; and more.
